EPISODE REVIEWS

Those Seven Ninja Swordsmen look absolutely terrifying and seeing all their unique blades gathered in one spot is such a crazy visual

Watching Zabuza and Haku again actually hurts and Kabuto is so cruel for making them fight like this

Episode Context

Picking up directly from 'An Old Nemesis Returns,' where the Allied Shinobi Forces first clashed with reanimated foes, this episode deepens the war's strategic and emotional layers with Kakashi at the center. It serves as a crucial bridge within the Fourth Great Ninja War arc, escalating the consequences of Kabuto's Edo Tensei and the toll it takes on those forced to fight former comrades. The groundwork laid here feeds directly into 'The Brilliant Military Advisor of the Hidden Leaf,' shifting focus toward the broader tactical leadership needed to survive the war's mounting threats.
