Just the thought of Jiraiya's body being completely gone, lost to the ocean forever, made me gasp out loud—it feels like such a profound injustice after everything he did. I can't imagine how much worse this news would hit Naruto, knowing he can't even offer a proper farewell to the one person who truly believed in him and taught him so much.

I seriously did a double-take watching Naruto projectile vomit those little ink clones, I mean, who would've thought *that* was part of the training? Bee is such a bizarre mentor, but honestly, he just gets how to get through to Naruto, which I really admire.

Woah, finding out the Reaper Death Seal traps souls forever was a serious gut punch, like, my jaw dropped. It totally makes sense why Kabuto can't just reanimate the previous Hokages, but man, that's such a bleak fate for powerful shinobi, even in death.

Ugh, Kabuto is so infuriating with all his talk about surpassing Madara, it makes my skin crawl. I just know Tobi's planning something sneaky, probably waiting for the perfect chance to take him out, and honestly, I wouldn't even be mad.

Even after all the battles Naruto's faced, I still wasn't ready for how chilling that internal tug-of-war with the Nine-Tails felt; it really made me question if he could truly master such a dark force, especially seeing how close he came to being swallowed whole.

Naruto's struggle with that Tailed Beast Bomb training was genuinely tough to watch, making me feel for him as he pushed himself so hard. But then realizing his Rasengan mirrored Minato's signature move? That connection between father and son, even in technique, just makes me wonder what kind of bond they could have had.

When Kabuto just casually dropped the bombshell that the reanimation jutsu needs *living sacrifices* on top of DNA, my jaw practically hit the floor. I mean, how much more twisted can this war get? I'm honestly dreading to think about how many people will suffer just to bring back the dead.

A part of me actually sighed in relief when they said Jiraiya couldn't be brought back by Edo Tensei, and I know it sounds strange, but I just couldn't bear to see my Pervy Sage's iconic spirit twisted into some puppet. His final moments were so impactful and full of his determination, and having him fight against his own principles would honestly just feel like a betrayal of his whole character for me.

I was totally chuckling at Naruto fumbling with the Tailed Beast Bomb, it felt so classic him to mess up something so technical, but then my stomach dropped when Bee just casually mentioned Kurama was actually devouring his chakra. It made me wonder how much of Naruto's past exhaustion was really the Nine-Tails just being a jerk.

Ugh, Tobi just straight up handed over his subordinates like they were nothing, which really makes me wonder if he even sees them as people at all. It's messed up how easily he sacrifices others for his own warped plan, like there's no humanity left in him.

So *that's* why the third coffin was empty during Orochimaru's Edo Tensei – Minato's soul was totally sealed away! It makes me wonder if Orochimaru ever found out the real reason, and how absolutely fuming he must have been realizing he could never get his hands on the Fourth Hokage.

When those Zetsus just exploded out of the ground, I literally gasped; it was such an unsettling sight. Honestly, I'm sitting here wondering how the Allied Shinobi Forces are even going to begin fighting an army that can just materialize like that, it feels utterly hopeless.

Kabuto just chillingly explaining how he faces zero risk with Edo Tensei really got to me, it's so messed up that he's basically forcing legendary shinobi into his war as glorified meat shields. I can't imagine how enraged someone like Itachi or Nagato must feel being brought back for this, it just feels so disrespectful to their legacies.

Wait, so *that's* why the third coffin was empty back in the Chunin Exams? I literally gasped when they finally dropped the bomb about the Reaper Death Seal for Minato, making sense of a mystery that's been bugging me forever. And Kabuto, my stomach just churned watching him so nonchalantly reanimate that Foundation ninja just to show off; it's like he's completely detached from any moral compass, just a creepy puppet master pulling strings now.

The way Kabuto so calmly explained that he faces absolutely no risk from the reanimation jutsu left me feeling genuinely disturbed. I just can't wrap my head around that kind of twisted confidence, knowing he can unleash such powerful, deceased ninjas without a shred of personal danger.

Ugh, when Kabuto brought up Jiraiya, my stomach just dropped, I seriously thought we were about to see him as one of those Edo Tensei puppets. Honestly, I'm kinda selfishly relieved he didn't, because seeing my favorite pervy sage like that, a shell of himself, would've been too much to bear after everything he meant to Naruto.

When I realized that third coffin during Orochimaru's attack was for Minato, my jaw just dropped; it totally reframes that whole fight with the Third Hokage and makes so much sense now why he couldn't just seal away Orochimaru's other summons easily.

Okay, so when I saw that the reanimated folks couldn't even be hurt, my jaw just dropped; it's honestly terrifying how that changes everything for the war, making me wonder how the heck they're even supposed to win against an army that literally can't die.

Naruto having that timer ticking down on his new form gave me such a knot in my stomach, especially since the Nine-Tails is just patiently waiting to devour his chakra if he so much as wavers. It really feels like he's gotta conquer himself before he can even think about winning any external fight, which is a whole new level of pressure I didn't fully grasp.

I finally get why the third coffin didn't work on the Third Hokage, and man, it makes perfect sense that Minato was already sealed away by the Reaper Death Seal! I mean, that jutsu is no joke, so it's kinda chilling to think about what that means for him later.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Positioned at episode 264 of 500, this canon entry lands squarely in the Fourth Great Ninja War arc, following the emotionally driven 'Sai and Shin' episode that explored personal bonds amid wartime chaos. By shifting to Kabuto's reanimation mechanics, it pivots from emotional stakes to strategic ones, arming viewers with the knowledge needed to understand the true threat level ahead. This directly sets the stage for 'An Old Nemesis Returns,' where the theoretical dangers explored here materialize into tangible battlefield consequences.
