Episode Context

Coming directly off Ikuto's disorienting shipwreck arrival in Episode 1, this episode immediately capitalizes on his stranger-in-a-strange-land status by throwing the island's social customs into full swing. It serves as a foundational episode for the harem dynamic, introducing the competitive energy between the island's residents that will fuel much of the season's comedy and romance. What unfolds here sets the relational groundwork Ikuto carries through the remaining 24 episodes.
