EPISODE CONTEXT
As the series opener of a 26-episode run, this episode is purely foundational — Ikuto's stranding on the island is the inciting event everything else builds from. There is nothing preceding it, and it sets up the central dynamic: one ordinary guy navigating a society that has never encountered a man. The episodes ahead will expand on Ikuto's adaptation to island life and deepen his relationships with Suzu and the wider cast.
