The pacing moves quickly, so the scenes don't drag on at all. The characters' facial expressions and actions actually land really well. But honestly, if you’re not into this specific type of anime, you can just skip it.

I can see where this show got all the hate, and its mostly because of its extremely sensitive subject matter. But I'm torn between going with the bandwagon or just being nuanced, because the show now has decent pacing and a message to tell, at least in this juncture. A diamond in the rough as they say, the series is just a few more episodes into the finale, and I hope it sticks the landing.
