Mameda met butt-kudanji. Wait no, that came out wrong, Shirara's master, Byakudanji Tsubaki, he was called for that due to some reason.

This was a well written episode. Shirara's master being a financial disaster was so funny, and it was nice that they showed his flaws. That one that I didn't like though is Mameda promising to shoulder a debt, which was actually really reckless.

Melancholic and historical are what I can say about this episode. The visuals utilise a dark, rain-soaked aesthetic that reflects the inner struggle of artists in a changing world where old folklore traditions are being actively erased.
