pretty good episode overall, great soundtrack. It built bakugos character pretty well

I actually started crying when Midoriya was on his knees and All Might finally told him he can be a hero because he waited his whole life for that validation

Episode Context

Following the premiere's world-building and introduction of Izuku's quirkless underdog status, episode 2 functions as the emotional catalyst for everything that follows in this 13-episode season. It deepens the Izuku-All Might dynamic and sharpens the Izuku-Bakugo tension, both of which become load-bearing pillars for the arcs ahead. This is the bridge between setup and the training phase that will dominate the season's early stretch.
