Bakugo really turned into a tsundere now, lmao. He’s honestly so funny, I love him. This episode felt like the beginning stages of the third match, and the stakes are slowly getting higher. The next episode already looks exciting!

I feel like this episode highlighted Iida the most, especially during the last part. It felt more like a warm-up than a full-blown intense battle, but it was still a great setup that showed everyone’s potential while keeping things unpredictable.

Another warm-up episode for the third match. Both teams from 1-A and 1-B look really promising, though. Also, it’s kinda ridiculous seeing Endeavor slowly turn into that kind of dad. But hey, good for his redemption arc, I guess!

Episode Context

Episode 7 opens the third round of Season 5's joint training exercise, directly following the resolution of Match 2 in the previous episode. It establishes the new team dynamics and strategic stakes for Todoroki and Iida's squad, functioning as the first half of a two-part confrontation that will conclude in Episode 8. At roughly the quarter mark of the 25-episode season, the arc is steadily escalating the personal and competitive tensions that will carry through the remaining rounds.
