Episode Context

As the second entry in a tightly constructed six-episode OVA, this is the critical bridge between the premiere's world-building and the escalating events of the back half. Episode 1 introduced Al's sheltered colonial life disrupted by military action; Episode 2 deepens his personal entanglements with figures on both sides of the conflict, establishing relationships that will carry devastating weight as the story progresses toward its famously impactful conclusion.
