EPISODE REVIEWS
The game intensity really steps up here. Nishimura’s curveball feels genuinely threatening, and the way Touma and Souichirou keep fighting despite the pressure makes the baseball scenes surprisingly gripping.
Watching the Tachibana brothers finally hit the field together is a whole slow burn and I am here for it. We finally get the backstory and character depth needed to flesh out the Meisei baseball legacy. Even if the practice match felt a bit mid and the pacing dragged in the dugout, the sibling dynamic is fire.
The episode visuals are good. The game is also good, and the crowd has interaction that takes part in the game, but what's lacking is the tense or hyped background music. They selected a background music that is not effective at the moment. We also get a little bit of a glimpse of connection and information about Tachinabas.
