Episode Context

Coming right off the series premiere that introduced Kaede and Mirumo's unlikely partnership, this episode begins expanding the world by bringing in Rirumu, whose arrival signals that the show's romantic and fantastical dynamics won't stay simple for long. It functions as a soft second chapter, reinforcing the core premise while quietly planting seeds for the human-Muglox relationships that will define the larger season. What unfolds here sets the relational groundwork that the next stretch of episodes will build on.
