Akaba's Study of Kanata
Kaito Akaba reveals his meticulous study of Kanata Katagiri, seeing his
The Jumping Spot Maneuver
The race heats up as the commentators highlight the impending 'Jumping Spot'. Kaito Akaba tries to block Kanata, anticipating a move, but Michael Beckenbauer executes a shocking maneuver. He cuts in, effectively using Kanata's car to 'jump' past Akaba. This audacious move leaves Akaba horrified and the commentators stunned by its audacity and precision.
Professor Yagi's Quandary
Professor Yagi and Shun Aiba dissect the impossible maneuver, baffled by the synchronized timing. Professor Yagi postulates a 'super-sense' born of extreme concentration, acknowledging his own lack of scientific explanation. He also questions Kanata's apparent willingness to give up a position, seeing it as a potential fatal mistake in race management. These moments reveal the commentators wrestling with genius, struggling to fit extraordinary events into ordinary logic.
The Genius Partnership
Despite Kanata's temporary drop in rank, Professor Yagi sees a deeper strategy at play. He describes Kanata and Beckenbauer as 'two geniuses' engaged in a mental game. Their unspoken understanding and absolute confidence in their speed turn the race into something unpredictable. Shun Aiba observes their renewed liveliness, suggesting they are enjoying this complex interaction more than ever. Their partnership is a fascinating blend of calculated control and creative unpredictability.
Angel Interviews and Ren's Thoughts
Away from the track, the MFG Angels face probing questions. Maria Brown reacts with predictable fury to a marriage question, while Kyoko Maezono offers a surprisingly blunt and pragmatic answer. Ren Saionji, however, reflects on wanting to make someone else happy rather than seeking her own happiness. Her father, initially worried about his 'selfish' only child, is deeply moved and sees Kanata's positive influence. He even considers Kanata as a potential son-in-law.
Emma Green's Brutal Counterattack
The 'Silent Artist' Emma Green enters the fray, dismissing other drivers as 'small fry' and impatiently awaiting Akaba. Beckenbauer attempts to create a buffer zone for Kanata by engaging Emma, but the situation quickly escalates. Emma unleashes a fierce counterattack after a collision, labeling it 'punishment' for the 'foolish one'. Her aggressive move leaves Beckenbauer shocked and Akaba thrown off course, revealing her dangerous reputation as 'Witch'.
The 'Strongest Train' Unleashed
After Emma's explosive intervention, the race committee's leniency towards her questionable tactics is noted. The 'Strongest Train' of Kanata and Beckenbauer capitalizes, with Beckenbauer strategically yielding the lead to Kanata. He calls it 'returning the favor' and declares an end to holding back. This 'declaration of war' breaks their gentleman's agreement, setting the stage for an all-out, individual assault on the leaders.
Moroboshi's Struggle and Yanagida's Motivation
The leading group tightens, with Moroboshi in the lead, then Greene, Beckenbauer, and Katagiri. Ryosuke Takahashi expresses frustration at Moroboshi's dropping position, angrily urging him not to lose. Meanwhile, Takuya Yanagida provides a harsh but effective motivation for Sena Moroboshi. He dismisses 'borrowed rankings', asserting that true value comes from earned positions. Sena, responding to this pressure, declares his true power is now engaged, determined to prove himself.
Sawatari's Unlucky Strike
Koki Sawatari battles Maezono for tenth place, lamenting his 'unlucky' position despite his efforts. He plans an aggressive attack in the high-speed sections, vowing to defy logic and showcase his speed. As he makes his move in a low-speed turn, he pulls in Daiki Oishi. Sawatari embraces the unfairness of the world and the race, determined to deliver a miracle through sheer will.
Kanata's Borrowed Strength
Beckenbauer observes an unusual cornering technique, noting it differs from typical Japanese drivers. He sees Kanata taking a wide arc at a constant speed, a European-trained method. Sena Moroboshi recognizes this technique, having seen it before with Kanata, and wonders if it's a standard for European drivers. Kanata, for his part, acknowledges Emma Green's understanding of the course, 'borrowing her strength' in a display of calculated respect and strategic adaptation. The race's outcome remains thrillingly uncertain.
EPISODE REVIEWS

Its so fun to watch everyone who underestimates the MC get humbled when they are overtaken by him. Interesting duos and racing methodology! I never would have expected Kanata to use the jumping segment to his advantage in that way.

The race continues with Beckenbauer and Kanata's unexpected developments in the Seaside Double Lane race! The unlikely duo are a powerhouse in their overtaking and maneuvers, and slowly climb up the rankings with every Hydro Trap. It is entertaining to watch the underdogs!

The high speed race continues, with the MC teaming up and overtaking opponents! The side plot with Marie is kinda interesting, but scenes with the Angels feel very out of place cut in between the main race.
