I'm at a loss for words for this episode. I don't know where to start. But I thought that Gibson Jr. hit a foul by hitting that post, though? Well, the tone of this episode was depressing, and the atmosphere was so heavy that it was unnoticeable. Goro's emotional and mental breakdown was unsettling, but it was well-executed in this ep. And another shocking cliffhanger right at the ending — it was definitely a must-watch!
Here the final showdown reaches its heartbreaking conclusion. The panicky pacing highlights the devastating blow. The dark aftermath tone was skilfully handled, which led to some raw character development.
Oh boy, here we go again... I really hate it when the story goes this way. Like, come on! Please stop playing with my emotions! But honestly, the touch of realism here is just amazing. I’ve felt this kind of thing before too, and that feeling was really bitter and painful.
