This was a gripping episode with profound back-to-back surprises coming from Gibson. Not expecting the shocking turn of events as I watched this ep at the edge of my seat. The pacing was perfect and there felt a high-tensioned atmosphere. Gibson reminded me of Thors from Vinland Saga in that fighting spirit stunt. That ending scene left hanging, just literally a cliffhanger! Felt it was a familiar déjà vu scene from the Minor League.
The climax pushed the emotional stakes to a massive mountain. The breathless pacing, paired with the haunting soundtrack gave me chills. And the character development is insane in this one. The emotional storytelling in this one is an absolute masterpiece.
This is SOOOO EPIC! Holy smokes, the tension is just insane, and the showdown between Goro and Gibson Jr. is freaking awesome! I couldn’t help but get goosebumps all over my body while watching this episode. That said, the music and overall direction made this episode even more exciting. I especially loved the scene where Gibson stood up. The aura in that specific scene totally won me over.
