This was a peak episode! The animation was excellent, especially in Goro's top-notch performance! The music itself and also the sound effects boost the high-end direction of this ep, and result in a cinematic trail. That BGM entrance is truly Goro's signature. Overall, this ep kept my sleeping energy alive.
This is absolute chaos and suffocating drama. The relentless pacing provides a rollercoaster of emotions as a legendary figure arrives. The high-stakes, dark tone peaks as Goro is forced on the mound in the eight innings.
Man, I really love this episode so much. It was supposed to be Goro’s time to shine, and they decided to drop that freaking funny moment!? I just can’t, LMAO! That said, what makes this episode even more thrilling is Gibson Jr.’s performance. The scene, the frame-stop moments, the camera angles, and the sound that shattered the silence were simply PEAK.
