This is the best heartwarming episode by far this season. The tone was light-hearted and all was calm. Definitely felt the nostalgic vibes of this ep and to see some familiar faces that Goro has been acquainted with. Gibson's past and treasured promise was totally heartbreaking to watch. Momoko was the best supporting mom ever!
The countdown to the final match begins. The pacing is very precise, weaving together separate character resolves. The tone is incredible cinematic, and is supported by some beautiful animations as the final two teams prepare for the ultimate stage.
I really love the balance in this episode. The drama, comedic scenes, and narration are all great, and they build up the excitement for the upcoming epicness. That said, this may be a build-up episode, but it definitely stands out in terms of engagement.
