It was indeed an appealing ep. This episode was peak quality and the best so far, with no dull moments! The ep was simple, yet the plot, pacing, and animation were powerful enough that made it convincing. Nice to see the father and son dynamics and their banter. Goro's never-fading charisma, along with his hilarious acts, was pretty cunning, which definitely changed the tone of the plot. That plot twist catch was wonderful!

This is absolute peak as Goro finally takes the mound. It is pure adrenaline watching his gyroball collide with the swing of Silva. The dynamic pitching animation paired with breathless pacing and resistant tone, delivered fantastic character development.

I just can't help but laugh at Goro and Hideki's moments. This father-and-son duo was so funny! That said, Goro is becoming a little sly nowadays. Seriously, he definitely wouldn't have acted like this in the past. His performance in this episode really makes you happy! But what I loved most about this episode was the direction. To be completely honest, that scene totally fooled me! It was insanely good!
