Truly a hyping episode this was. The tone was exciting and the tension was rather high. The BGM once again incorporates the upbeat thrill of the ep and can't wait to see what's in store for that cliffhanger. Just that Silva was getting on my nerves. I was also wondering why they aren't using metal bats? Kind of getting cliché scenes once again.
The atmosphere becomes tense with the landing of the crushing gravity of representing an entire nation. The pacing does a beautiful job at building the pre-game anxiety. The animation looks grand and intimidating, shifting the tone into a serous, high pressure battle.
This episode is just okay. It's mainly a build-up for the upcoming episodes. That said, it isn't lacking in great moments, and I especially love the frame-stop during the critical scenes. It really enhances them and makes them much more engaging.
