okay so the team hits a rough patch here and the teammates rally around goro to lift his spirits with a drive and theres also a lighter subplot with kaoru friends trying to help her love life along a nice balance drama and personal side stories
This was a wholesome and a breather ep, as the spotlight was on Shimizu. The tone was romantic, as she expressed herself describing the character she's interested in. The mood was hilarious during Goro's scene in the car. His silly facial expression was funny. And that flashback to when he first came to the US was so nostalgic.
LMAO! I laughed so hard at the transition between Shimizu and Goro. That was so freaking hilarious. I've got to give kudos to the direction this time around. On another note, Shimizu really only has eyes for Goro. I really love how devoted she is to him.
