okay so the tournament season is kicking off here and theres some new leadership dynamics on the seishu side that are interesting ngl growing pains showing up early in an unexpected way a solid setup episode for that side of the story. watch this dont skip dude
This episode was back to the filler-like side story, mainly focused on the character building of Taiga, along with the other aspirants in Seishuu. The tone of this ep was motivational, as Goro's influence and spirit in baseball inspire many kouhai. That Taiga in the air with the slo-mo animation was so cool! I remembered that frame on the S3's OP, though. The brewing romance in the end was heart fluttering.
This is a good episode and a nice change of pace. While I love watching Goro's moments the most, taking a break from them every now and then to follow the lives of other characters isn't a bad change. That said, I like that Taiga is doing just fine as the team's new captain. In fact, he's doing a lot better than Goro in that regard, LOL! On another note, I'm really loving the craftsmanship this time around. Taiga's moments were definitely portrayed beautifully.
