Mahoro is barely getting used to living a normal life outside of combat and she's doing her best. I didn't think we'd also have some mecha in this anime but I guess that's what happens when you have Gainax as one of the production studios. The whole teacher bit definitely did not age well, I really hope we don't see her that much from now on.

Kinda feel bad and have second hand embarrassment. Definitely felt uncomfortable to watch. I expected better from Suguru. The teacher needs to go. Actually skip this episode I hope it doesn't get worse

Well, seriously, why is this episode making me uncomfortable? Because the theme story could be an adult romance scene and also suddenly change to high-stakes action drama, it's nonsense to me. its horrible

Episode Context

Following the premiere's introduction of Mahoro and her secret combat background, this episode shifts gears to establish the comedic social landscape surrounding Suguru's daily life. Ms. Shikijo's introduction here is significant, her dynamic with Mahoro seeds a recurring source of tension and humor that the series will revisit. This episode functions as essential character groundwork for the relationships and comedy beats that carry the rest of the twelve-episode run.
