What a fun way to start a series, retro anime really knew how to switch between genres in a way modern anime simply can't replicate. It's really funny to see how easily Mahoro deals with everything while being all Moe about it. The artstyle and animation are older than they look, I could've sworn it was from the mid 90s instead of 2001.
