This show is turning into a story about existential crisis. The importance of memories to the characters are becoming more apparent. However, the show has been dragging this out. It is a pain to watch at this point. Even their reliance on memories being the only basis for everything has gotten more ridiculous. It is as if they are presenting to the audience that memories alone make up a person. Then, they portray as well that actions in the present can change who someone is as compared to the past. So contradictory.

The Bookmaker keeps driving the tension with scheduled battles. Everyone is chasing their goals, but this ep felt a bit repetitive. Surviving is all that matters, and Suzuko's sunny attitude is a bit much for me, though at least she stopped hesitating and chose to fight.

Chinatsu's story kind of feels like an allegory for trafficking. The way that she is being used and using others, with the constant change in personalities and instability. This is so heavy for something that feels not fleshed out.
