You cannot bring back the dead. Changing memories won't change the truth, it will only result in a lie. These characters and their perspective on memories are making this worse by the second.

No way, that's crazy! Chinatsu is trying to escape her life in the worst way, she looks so selfish. Suzuko is the opposite, too positive and hopeful. Even though things slow down a bit in this episode, the tension between their views is definitely building up.

This is all fine and dandy but these characters are all not great. Chinatsu pretty much manipulated a child and Suzuko is so caught up in her own head to realize what the effects are if you let her win. I appreciate we get a more nuanced understanding of Suzoko.
