What a powerful start! Kurugaya here is an absolute BEAST. Amazing raw expressions coming from those girls. The production quality in ~Refrain~ sure jumped significantly. The animation, the pacing, and soundtrack. Almost everything here surpasses the previous season. Welcome back, Little Busters! ⚾
Love that opening, it's so incredibly nostalgic for me, with such deep meaning hidden beneath it. With how this episode goes, it looks like Riki and the gang had a fun little baseball match (whose out hadn't been revealed to us at the finale). It continues in a usual fashion with the characters being adorably silly, with the darkness of reality always looming at the back of their minds. Kurugaya is still a pretty damn cool character. The animation also seems a lot more fluid this season.
Nice fun start with a party! 🎉Kurugaya shows the boss aura. 💪👑 Overall — fun to watch, 8/10! ⭐🎬
