i just love it makes so much sense to protect book that way. although people might think they’re over doing it, literally going to war for books, but it’s justified when you think of how precious and important the content is. not Komaki just finding Kasahari hilarious in a difficult situation though. he legit be laughing in front of them LOL he really had no worries. Dojo was holding himself back HAHAHAH we all knew what he wanted to do and someone definitely used his cable OHOHO
What a great episode. This really sets the tone of how strict and authoritarian the Cleansing Committee is on censorship and how the Library Force sticks it to them while also highlighting Komaki's and Dojo's past and conviction.
This is the episode that really sold me on what Library Wars is trying to say. What starts as a routine mission gradually becomes a test of the Library Defense Force's principles, and I liked that the tension came from difficult decisions instead of nonstop action. Komaki also gets some well deserved focus, adding another layer to the team's dynamic without stealing the spotlight from Kasahara.
