lol Genda was really there to just butcher Kasahara in front of her parents. purest intention ever though. gotta agree with her mom about Shibasaki. she’s really pretty and just captivating as hell. kinda evil sometimes but in a good way lol her being all worried about them finding out is definitely valid. cause who would have thought your daughter doing all that instead of just being a mere librarian. and the dad interrogating directly like that really didn’t help. but he’s really cool though. the fact that he found out and still decided to listen. it really shows how a dad’s roles differ than a mom’s when it comes to being there for their kids.
This episode really adds relatability to Kasahara's character and her relationship with her parents while also injecting humor and seriousness.
Probably one of the most human episodes so far. Watching Kasahara juggle family expectations with the reality of her job hit harder than I thought. It gives her way more depth than endless action ever could.
