Shurako just clowning Yukinko's whole betrayal before smacking the slime out of Doppelganger was the only thing keeping this from being pure dread. Then the ending happened and now nothing is okay

Watched this before bed like an idiot. Doppelganger banging on about being distorted is a ghost's reason to exist while he slowly loses it genuinely made my skin crawl. The tonal shift is more jarring than i expected though

You spend ten episodes laughing at Doppelganger being a loser and then his entire self worth collapses into one line about being reborn pretty. This show was not supposed to make me sad about the slime villain
