I'm not buying that this is just a gag ending. Mechako looked genuinely afraid talking about Yuta. Between the empty ED and that bulletin board poster with his face on it something darker is definitely coming. Also does anyone else miss the cursed doll or is that just me

Bro everyone called the kettle a kettle all day and it was the only one denying it. That hit me way harder than a gag about a haunted teapot has any right to. Yuta is honestly the most direct person alive and I think that's exactly why Mechako ran from him

Mechako hiding in a trash can because shes scared of Yuta is the funniest thing this show has done. And then she just disappears and the rain starts and the poster has his face on it. The tonal whiplash got me real bad
