3DCG style is lowkey a vibe for me, it's always interesting to see studio utilizing it because it's either top notch or it doesn't lend itself to the source's original artstyle. Luckily, Houseki no Kuni lands squarely on the former. Phos is a delicate, fragile Gem who desires to be useful, and is very relatable in that sense. I'm really curious how their interactions pan out as they fill that Encyclopedia tasks of theirs.
