Episode 6 shifts back to the mecha action as Madoka and Lan prepare for a major battle. The episode develops Muginami’s character further as she fights against her brother

The tension is high with everyone preparing for the battle. Madoka is really someone who cares so much to the point of even getting revenge for someone she just knew. Muginami finally shows her actual feelings, making her show more of her character. The ending is another unanswered question and how it is related to the characters. I really hope we get the answers to this. The pacing is quite slow though so I hope it picks up next episode.

This episode basically feels like Kamogawa getting hit with a full elemental chaos test. Madoka and Lan get dragged into another Oracle/Novumundus conflict where different Rin-ne energy types start acting up in the city, and it turns into one of those “we need to fix this before civilians notice anything is wrong” situations. What stood out is how the fight isn’t just random action—it’s more like each element (wind, fire, water) reflects how unstable everything is getting between the characters and the war they don’t fully understand yet. Madoka still feels like she’s doing things instinctively rather than strategically, while Lan is clearly still adjusting to Earth life but pushes through anyway. I liked how the episode balances normal school-life vibes with sudden sci-fi escalation, even if it jumps pretty fast between moods. It kind of shows how the series is slowly building the idea that Kamogawa is basically becoming a battleground without most people realising it. The ending leaves you with that “okay, things are definitely escalating” feeling rather than a clean resolution.
