La corda d'oro: Blue♪Sky

What a beautiful concluding episode, it ties every issue well with the schools despite being rushed, as well as giving an inkling as to what Kanade's journey will be next.

A very tense episode between the Seiso and Amane students, though at least Myoga's issues gets a resolution, and Kanade gets closer to her own solution, too.

Kanade's problems with her own music gets to the fore of this episode, which inevitably raises tension and the stakes as it is tied to the concours.

We're introduced to St. Cecil High School this time, and I am a bit bummed that this episode focused more on Amane and Myoga's motivations. It gives depth to his character, but still doesn't make me sympathize with him.

The struggles for our leading three characters comes to an actual resolution, but what this episode is great about is the musicality, with this episode just reminding viewers how much this is a music anime.

This episode just shows more of the other characters' perspectives towards their own music, playing music in general, as well as doubts they are trying to overcome. While not a bad episode, it is understandably slower.

I love seeing the students bond here even after one band got defeated while the other couldn't even celebrate in their victory due to the circumstances. This episode shows the strong camaraderie both the games and the series in general is known for.

The concours are starting seriously, and now every character's motives are being displayed to the fore as a sign of determination, which raises the stakes of this show. I'd like to root for Kanade, even if she is showing such indecisiveness in this episode.

Another introduction to other bands, but this time it's the Shiseikan members, and Arata's a very funny fellow, as well as the slightly serious Jinnan members. I am confused why Kanade seems like she's just going with the flow with the guys and gals though.

This is a good introduction to Amane High School and its students, though it feels a little slow compared to the two previous episodes. Also, add another person I don't really like to the list: Myoga.

A beautiful development for Kanade after her obvious slump from the previous episode. Kyoya being a good but brash guy made him likeable to me, but I wish I can break Ritsu's fingers to shut his insufferable smug face.

Honestly didn't expect the protagonist for Blue Sky to be another person (as I haven't played the VNs), but this is a good introduction for Kanade, Kyoya and Ritsu.

Been a while since I watched a La Corda D'Oro series, and this brought a lot of nostalgic feelings.

Oh I had to reply that ending song because I always love Andante and when every VA sang it, it's just feels special. Other than that, even if it's a little rushed for my taste, I do feel like they close the Myoga plotline really well, and I love how despite everyone's feelings, they showed sportmanships throughout the concour. Overall a great ending to the series, there's little romance, but if you want romance I highly suggest the otome game instead!

This was quite the tense episode, as revenge from previous plotline finally materialized here. I thought it'll get worse, but I was thankful that Sei was there. I really like that we finally have the clarity of what happened between Myoga and Kanade, which is both sad and bitter. It's understandable why Myoga felt the way he did, but after watching this series, I wasn't surprise of what Kanade had done at that time. A good consistent character writing. I hope they tied up everything nicely next episode.

That man, Alexei, really have a bad aura around him, which even makes me uncomfortable. But besides that, something more urgent has come, not only to Amane school, which was about Sei that threatened their standing in the concour, but also a problem with Kanade with her music. I really like how they decide to tie Kanade's problem here, it's cute and the additional cameo from Len was very much welcomed too. I do wonder how the Amane school will go about their problem though.

From the breadcrumbs that was left about Myoga, we're slowly unveiling his past, and by proxy his relationship with Kanade too. I really like how determine Myoga is on his path, so much so that others seemed to get scared over it, which is understandable. On the opposite side, Amane school also have Sei, which still have his plotline from before, and seemingly Sousuke has a new found problem on his hand. I really like how we're shifting the spotlight to other characters as well.

Personally, I feel like this episode is the cumulative results of episodes prior to this one, with Kanade slowly blooming her own sound and Kyoya finally stepping up to the plate. Nothing much happen, but I have to say that the OST was really flexing the anime's classic musical numbers. But there's also something else brewing in the background, which is intriguing, and I hope we'll see how it goes in the next episode.

We finally get to see Kyoya's point of view, which even though it is quite predictable, is quite good. Maybe this is also caused by Ritsu, who despite being selfish, seemed to want to push Kyoya to the spotlight too. I really like the dynamic of these two. Other than that, we also get to learn about Myouga's dad and Chiaki's dad which are interesting to say the least. I want to know more about the other characters too!

As much as I love Shiseikan students, and no matter how great their ending was to the concours, I think it was all overshadowed by the dynamic between Kyoya and Ritsu. I like how the brothers are fairly realtistic, as they aren't overly loving but also sublty care about each other, which is nice. I like how they reveal Ritsu's problem, and I hope that Kyoya is the one who will step up.
