I love this episode! Cute Chika x Houzuki moment at the start. Then the performance we’ve been waiting for finally begins, with heartwarming flashbacks that make it even more emotional while listening to their playing 😭 The animation delivers all the emotions perfectly. 10/10!

Episode Context

Sitting at the season's midpoint approach, Episode 5 transitions the Koto Club from the foundational arc of recruitment, bonding, and intensive practice into their first real test, a public performance that validates or challenges everything built in Episodes 1-4. This is a crucial pivot point; the dynamics established between Chika, Satowa, and the club members now carry tangible stakes, setting the emotional baseline for the escalating challenges and competitions that will define the season's second half.
