Looking forward to more character development because Satowa still comes off as a bit arrogant, and the president hasn’t fully grown into his role yet. Kudou remains my favorite, and I love how the three new members bring so much humor and energy to the series.

Now we get three new characters, and their dynamic really livens things up. Because of something that happens, Chika and the others have to take koto more seriously. There’s some arguing, funny moments, and awkward interactions, so the tension goes up and down.

The animation in this episode is hilarious! Those chibi art style expressions are what make the plot so interesting. Beyond the humor, the display of friendship is heartwarming, as well as the subtle glimpse of Hozuki’s circumstances, which explains why she's very distant from others.

Episode Context

Following the club's shaky formation in Episode 2, this episode tackles the immediate threat of disbandment through recruitment, deepening the bonds between Chika and the other members. It serves as the final piece of groundwork before the group pivots toward their first real performance challenge in Episode 4. At episode 3 of 13, this is the hinge point where setup transitions into forward momentum for the rest of the season.
