The pilot suits are quite something, ngl, and it's interesting to see the methods humans adopt for their own survival. The first half is quite action-heavy, and the second half too keeps you quite engaged with the aftermath of the battle. The rice thief seems to be likeable while in combat mode, but he still seems to be at an all-time low with his social interactions</3.
The intensity at the first half will keep you at the edge of your seat. I also appreciate how later on, it allows us viewers to really sit through the emotional heaviness of what came out of the fight against Gauna, and how Tanikaze is handling it all. Much to look forward to with the character interactions here -- there's already a lot of interesting dynamics at play!
I'm really intrigued by this episode about Tanikaze's background. The pacing is great, it gives you a moment to breathe while deepening the story and introducing more characters, all while still expanding the world building.
