Big animation glow up in the middle of the episode.

Sawako finally talks to Kazehaya about the rumors. She honestly explains that she never meant to hurt Yano and Yoshida. Meanwhile, Yano and Yoshida are still upset because they don’t fully understand Sawako’s true feelings yet.

Episode Context

Coming directly off the fallout from the rumor-driven tensions of Episodes 3-4, 'Determination' functions as the critical pivot point where Sawako shifts from enduring misunderstandings to actively confronting them. It bridges the conflict-heavy middle stretch with the reconciliation arc that follows in Episode 6, 'Friends.' At one-fifth through the 25-episode season, this is the moment that establishes whether Sawako's relationships will deepen or collapse, foundational groundwork for everything ahead.
