EPISODE REVIEWS

The battle starts feeling real this episode with the damages and the tone of the show. Additionally, the coloring and music this episode was phenomenal! Was at the edge of my seat, type of episode.

This is a pivotal episode. The battle is intense, the losses are real, and the historical weight is palpable. Fusou and Yamashiro's decommissioning is a powerful moment two beloved battleships walking away from the war. But the episode's pacing is a mess. The action is breakneck, then it grinds to a halt, then it speeds up again. And the emotional impact doesn't quite land the way it should. You know this is supposed to be tragic, but you don't feel it the way you should.

It's only the third episode, but the chills I got feels like it's a fight worthy of a show climax. Ffs tho, Fusou keeps getting the short-end of the stick when it comes to battle, I kinda feel sorry for her. While every quality stays superb, I begin to notice that dialogue wise are very short and not too engaging.
