EPISODE REVIEWS

They are building up the lore for the grandfather and a place for Aoi at the hotel. I'm excited to see what she makes of it. Though, the animation is slightly off.

I'm already loving this anime. The atmosphere is so cozy and the characters are really charming. I loved getting a glimpse into Aoi's grandfather's past, especially his connection to the Innkeeper. Matsuba-sama's first impression of Aoi was so wholesome too. Also loved the songs of this anime. I'm really liking Ginji so far. The ogre isn't bad either, but I'm hoping the cast gets some more depth. I'm just hoping the story keeps its plot instead of becoming a generic reverse harem. Aoi standing up for herself and choosing to work off her debt makes her really refreshing.

The Master Ogre has been an unpleasant character that I'm not fond of at all, but I don't mind it since changing his mind would be all that satisfying. I'm more concern because the employees are shown to respect him but he hasn't given Aoi, and the audience, a reason to respect him. So convincing me to like him is gonna be a challenge, but at least his terrible attitude gets called out. So far, the most interesting character has been Grandpa Shiro, makes me look forward to the stories she'll find the more Aoi meets new youkai.
