An interesting start. I appreciate that she offers another form of payment rather then complain about her situation. I'm curious how the dynamic will shift.

I love this first episode, Aoi refusing to back down from the Ogre God is such a great introduction to her character. Also, I love how the cozy atmosphere never completely hides the stakes and the food animation is honestly making me hungry. The Hidden Realm already feels magical.

Right out of the gate, Aoi is introduced to be a very cute character. Kind is almost a default setting for most shoujo protagonist, so I accepted the cliche trait, including sad family backstory. The premise, while fantastical, is an alternative version of arranged marriage. The designs of the character are cute but not exactly weird enough to be fantastical. Overall, standard plot but I didn't find it boring and in fact look forward to the next episode.
