This episode is mostly filler with Aoi enjoying her day, but her and the Ogre Master did bond with each other, but I personally found there's barely any tension between them. They don't argue or fight or have anything that conflict with each other but neither do they have anything in common. Their romance is so superficial.

I really liked seeing Aoi win through her own skills instead of needing someone to rescue her. I just wish her rivals had more depth because they're so one dimensional that the outcome never feels particularly uncertain. Still the pacing is solid and Aoi standing her ground is great.
