Not gonna lie, Shizuna and Tokihiko has an interesting dynamic. The latter may seem forceful, but while Shizuna is no pushover despite acting meek. In fact, Tokihiko is the more sensitive one between the two which makes them that much more interesting to watch.

This felt like 20 minutes of Aoi fawning over her new spirit pet. It's cute sure, but the pacing is not good and the animation looks noticeably weaker. If you're watching for plot or meaningful character development this one doesn't offer much.
