Something about the rhythm of this episode didn’t quite click for me. It moves forward, slows down, picks itself up again, then seems to wander for a bit. That uneven pacing made it difficult to stay completely invested. It’s not necessarily dull, but there were definitely moments when my attention started looking elsewhere 😅
You know that feeling when something just doesn't feel right? That’s how the shifting loyalties play out here. The dramatic moments are getting significantly better but the animation budget clearly couldn't keep up with the ambition of the fight scenes leaving them looking a bit jagged. Still Jiyu's reluctance to fight is handled really well.
