This episode feels like things are finally starting to pick up. The pacing and nighttime visuals were my favorite, especially the beautiful night sky and moon it looked absolutely stunning.
This one feels noticeably quieter. Instead of constantly throwing another ridiculous situation at Jiyu, it gives her more room to process everything surrounding the Lovely Eyepatch and Koinosuke. That change of pace works surprisingly well because her reactions feel much more human when the absurdity around her suddenly carries a little more weight.
Okay things are finally starting to pick up a little. Jiyu's struggle between what she wants and what she's responsible for is actually pretty engaging. The villains are still a little flat but the self aware humor works much better without Bantaro screaming over everything. The visual direction during the nighttime encounters is a slight step up.
