This episode was okay overall, but it felt a bit random and lacked a clear flow. The story and character development are progressing quite slowly, so I hope the pacing picks up in the upcoming episodes.
There’s a particular kind of randomness to this series that I still haven’t fully adjusted to 😭 Sometimes I understand exactly what it’s trying to do, and other times I’m just staring at the screen. This episode falls somewhere in between. It has entertaining moments, but the overall flow feels rather scattered.
To nitpick a little I really don't like how Bantaro and the Ruffians are handled here. Every time they show up I get annoyed because you just know they are going to mess up the scene with stupid, loud humor. They appear in scenarios that should be serious and just kill the mood. The actual Jubei action scenes are decent but the pacing suffers massively from the comedy scenes.
