Isekai Cheat Magician
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Rin Azuma and Taichi Nishimura are just walking to school like any other day when a mysterious light strikes them and drops them into a fantasy world called Altia, which, yeah, is about as standard an isekai setup as it gets. But here's the thing: Taichi Nishimura and Rin Azuma don't just scrape by in their new world. When they go to register as adventurers, they find out their magical potential is absurdly overpowered. Taichi turns out to be a Unique Magician who can tap directly into elemental forces, and Rin becomes a Quad Magician wielding all four primary elements. So the title is pretty literal, they're basically cheat characters from the jump. What keeps this 12-episode TV series from being just another power fantasy is that it follows both of them equally. Taichi and Rin each get their own training arcs under their mentor Lemia, and their dynamic as longtime friends adjusting to a world where they're suddenly the strongest people around gives the show a different texture than a solo protagonist story would. The magic system is structured around elemental categories, so fights have a logic to them even when the outcome isn't really in doubt. If you liked That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime or Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest, this hits similar notes, overpowered protagonists, fantasy world-building, action-packed battles with a light tone. It's comfort food isekai. You know roughly where it's going, and sometimes that's exactly what you want.

I love that Rin and Taichi both have the same thoughts about the magic power they have been given. Every step they have taken shows what kind of people they are. They throw some twists into the show which was great; I just hope they would do a second season. Overall, the show has all the plot devices of an isekai so it is predictable but still enjoyable to watch.
The action this episode is what I feel we were missing, it has great humor points and the little twist of Inimicus's magic was nice. The dialogue this episode is heavy but lead well into the views of the MC and the villains. I enjoyed Rin's battle the most during the war.
Honestly the plot devices are over done and I can guess what will happen next. And it is getting closer to a harem anime and I want to down vote it just for that. I do like the relationship that Kassim and Grammy have with each other as well as the bit of character growth they have shown,
The pacing is set nicely for the episode. And the twist of the enemy story was a good touch. But the animation was a bit off in places and the battle wrapped up to nicely for me, wished we could see more of Taichi fighting.
The episode has great pacing and gives lots of answers and explanation which makes the episode dialogue heavy. Thought the situation Taichi and Rin are placed in makes me so angry., if I could hit a character it would be the princess.
The finale didn't really have that epic feel, with all that build up from the previous episode, but it was still a satisfying way to end the series. Overall, I think this is a solid anime, filled with great action and unexpected twists. For fans of Isekai anime, you may want to keep an eye on this!
It's war now, and the battle is gearing up to be the most intense one in the series. It's all hands on deck, as our heroes are ready to duke it out against an enormous army, along with some highly skilled mercenaries that are dying to take them out. The stage is set for the ultimate showdown, and I'm ready to be amazed!
Let's get ready to rumble! As our heroes have acquired new weapons courtesy of the king, they tested it out with plenty of fighting in this episode. The main fight is Taichi and Cassim again, but Cassim has some new tricks up his sleeve. Will Cassim finally defeat Taichi this time or will it be the same? Either way, it was great to see this classic rivalry reignite again!
The feels are something else this episode as well as the fighting, I'm always happy to see the MC struggle a bit when fighting it keeps the episode fresh; overpower fighting is boring to watch. The tide bits of lore keep you hooked for more and keeps me guessing to who the true villain is.
The pace is wonderful and we get plenty of action. The fights don't feel one sided and it just keeps getting better. The real problem I'm seeing is this turning into a harem anime; if you like that thing cool but not for me.
Some good dialogue about the world background and Taichi's sorcery, getting more on the villains and some of their motives. The pace is wonderful with great fights and conflicts; this episode does a lot to push the storyline.
The animation isn't top tier and I keep seeing moments of stalling or lines not matching, it is upsetting because the writing is pretty nice. The fights this episode are action packed and I do enjoys that. It is not an overpowered fight without balance.
More world building, so glad Rin is able to help flush out the world it helps to build the story better. Also the conflicts they face help show Taichi and Rin's kind nature, making the characters more likeable.
An expansion on our MCs as well as different support characters. Taichi and Rin make for very open characters as well as have good emotional and humorous moments. The pace moves right along and gives us little bits of lore and world building.
The character introductions and instant conflicts make for a great hook. The emotional beginning is realistic and heartfelt for our MCs. As well as a mystery running deep in the background, shows good writing.
Another day, another big battle ahead for our heroes! However, things are different - Rin and Taichi are uneasy, since they didn't have to kill humans before. While the battle was not as intense as the last major battle they had from previous episodes, it's still a visual spectacle, while also showcasing how strong Rin and Taichi have gotten since. Overall, a solid episode. Also, Rin looks really cute with her hair down ^_^
After the intense battle from the last few episodes, it's nice to have a slower change of pace. This episode reveals a lot of important secrets, such as the reason why Taichi and Rin were summoned in this world. Something is definitely cooking up, and it'll be interesting to see what'll come next.
A follow-up from the previous episode, this battle is getting more and more intense! With Taichi now part of the fight, stronger enemies have also joined the fray in a fight of epic proportions. An chaotic and emotional fight, it'll be tough to top these last few episodes!
The last episode was crazy, but this one took it to a whole other level. It's now an all out war to determine the fate of Azpire. The fight scenes are chaotic and visual spectacle, along with some pretty graphic scenes. I'll need a breather after watching this!
Boy, that escalated quickly. After a slow, relaxing start showing Taichi recovering from his most recent battle, the episode progressively gets more intense with each passing minute. It also goes more in-depth as to who fought Rin and Taichi from the last episode, as well as uncover more of Taichi's special abilities. Overall, a very solid, chaotic episode!
