More world building, so glad Rin is able to help flush out the world it helps to build the story better. Also the conflicts they face help show Taichi and Rin's kind nature, making the characters more likeable.

That was quite an unexpected change in tone for this episode. We went from lighthearted slice of life to dark and chaotic. For their first quest, it really surprised me how it escalated from how the previous episode played out. Now I'm curious to see what the other quests will look like for the rest of the series.
