EPISODE REVIEWS

The pace is wonderful and we get plenty of action. The fights don't feel one sided and it just keeps getting better. The real problem I'm seeing is this turning into a harem anime; if you like that thing cool but not for me.

The last episode was crazy, but this one took it to a whole other level. It's now an all out war to determine the fate of Azpire. The fight scenes are chaotic and visual spectacle, along with some pretty graphic scenes. I'll need a breather after watching this!

Episode Context

Sitting at the exact midpoint of the 12-episode run, 'Defense of Azpire' follows the revelation of Taichi's Summoner abilities in episode 5 and channels that momentum into the season's first large-scale conflict. It serves as the buildup and initial clash of a city-defense arc, directly setting the stage for episode 7's aftermath and deeper exploration of the battle's consequences. This is the pivot point where the series transitions from establishing its characters' power levels to testing them under genuine pressure.
