That was quite some progress in the relationship between these two characters. You can say that this was the "fan service" episode, but because of the build up to it, it becomes understandable and meaningful. I'm very excited to see how this all concludes in this show's finale.

This was one of those episodes that made this show infamous. It's the culmination of the sidestory that explains why one of the main character acts the way she does and why she developed into the person that she is. Definitely a must watch if you are already a fan of the show.

This episode focuses on the established camaraderie between two characters that has been building up quite nicely prior to this moment. Quite moving actually, they have been through alot and seeing them take dangerous risks for one another is a satisfying narrative development.

Again this is another setup episode with a lot of action and twists thrown in. On thing of note though, is that the flashback story that has been alluded to all throughout this chapter seems to be catching up. It may prove instrumental in connecting the stories from then and now.

It seems like this episode is building up for some major events coming in the next few chapters. Despite feeling like a breather or filler, it does add a little character development and story progression as the dungeon becomes increasingly more dangerous and fights more tense.

And this time, hope is the theme of the episode. From raising one's survivability using unconventional means, to having faith in a plan that is practically insane at every angle, yet it all paid off. Didn't expect to be so touched by the power of friendship, but here we are.

Interestingly, this episode builds up from the the theme of trust from the previous one, and it does so with one of the craziest ideas I have seen from an anime of this genre. Then again, it seems like these insane strategies are the very ones keeping them alive all these time.

This episode started in an impressive, action-packed battle with a some surprising twists. I guess teamwork did something well for them after all. Then it takes a turn in giving a lesson about trust, even if it doesn't seem to make sense. In any case, it was done really well.
