The world-building in this episode was significantly more interesting; we got to see more about the real dynamics that people have in-game and how far admin intervention should go. Also, we are left on a small cliffhanger that creates some excitement towards the next episode.
Awkward episode. There seemed to be so much energy in it, yet absolutely nothing was hitting at all. I couldn't get behind any of the characters, the vibe was weird and people were not working off each other very well.
This ep is a total world-building dive and the VR mechanics are finally making sense. We get the lore and character depth needed to understand how the superior Embryos and the PK system actually work. Even if the actual training felt a bit mid and the pacing dragged during the menu explanations, the introduction of the superior players is fire.
