There was no room to breathe, and not in the good way; this episode felt over cluttered with scenes, and some of them were barely watchable. Also, most of Nemesis's dialog felt weird and unconnected with the rest.

Nemesis and Ray got the vibe of this episode. The way they work together creates an unexpected grounded chemistry. The pacing is totally rushed. It’s very disappointing because this adaptation has fantastic source material. Unfortunately, the adaptation is speedrunning through those moments.

This ep is a total world-building dive and the mechanics are actually wild. We finally get the lore and character depth needed to understand how the Embryo system evolves and how the tian function in this game.
